In June, annual inflation in the country was 11.8% (11.3% in May). Acceleration of the annual inflation was reported in 18 regions, deceleration – in 1, and it remained at the previous level in 1 region.

Prices for food products in June grew by 10.6% in annual terms (by 9.6% in May). Maximum growth in prices for goods in this group was reported in Akmola Region (12.5%), and minimum – in Almaty City (8.7%).

Prices for non-food products in June rose by 9.4% in annual terms (by 9.0% in May). Maximum value was recorded in Turkistan Region (12.5%), minimum – in Pavlodar Region (6.3%).

Cost of paid services in June rose to 16.1% in annual terms (16.0% in May). Along with that, significantly lower than the national level, price growth was reported in Mangystau Region (10.1%).

In June, monthly inflation in the country grew by 0.8%.
