In 2024, payment systems of the National Bank processed payments worth a total of 1,487.4 trillion KZT, which is 51.7% surge from 2023.

The largest number of transactions is processed from 04:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. Average daily volume of transactions carried out on business days through the national payment systems (Interbank Money Transfer System and Interbank Clearing System) made 5.9 trillion KZT.

Average amount of one payment in payment systems of the National Bank in 2024 was 16.9 million KZT, which is 27.4% (3.6 million KZT) higher than in 2023.

Performance ratio of payment systems of the National Bank in 2024 exceeded the established targets and reached 99.96%. This confirms high availability and uninterrupted operation of the national payment systems.
