In November annual inflation accelerated in 10 regions of Kazakhstan
In November, annual inflation in the country slowed down, amounting to 8.4% (8.5% in October). In terms of regions, annual inflation accelerated in 10 regions, while in 9 regions it slowed down and in 1 region it remained unchanged.
The highest values of annual inflation were recorded in Astana city.
Growth pace of food products in November accelerated to 5.4% YoY (4.9 % in October). The highest increase in prices for goods in this group was observed in Zhetysu region (7.9%), while the lowest was in Turkіstan region (3.2%).
The growth rate of prices for non-food products accelerated to 8.0% YoY (7.8% in October). The maximum value was recorded in Turkistan region (13.3%), while the minimum was in Pavlodar region (5.1%).
Prices for paid services in November slowed down to 13.3% YoY (14.3 % in October). At the same time, prices rose significantly higher than the national level in Astana city (at 16.2%) and significantly lower in Turkistan region (9.4%).
In November, the monthly inflation in the country amounted to 0.9%, which is higher than the historical average (0.8% in November 2017-2021).
