The National Bank of Kazakhstan (the NBK) announces the start of sales of WORLD PAINTING collectible coins from the “Explore Coins – Discover Kazakhstan” coin series starting from August 28, 2024.

The coins will be sold through the NBK online store kazcoins.nationalbank.kz.

Сoins are made of:

 - 925/1000 silver with the use of color printing technology. The weight of the coin is 62.2 grams, 50 mm in diameter, proof quality, the face value is 2000 tenge. Mintage of the coins is 300 pieces.

- nickel silver alloy. The weight of the coin is 15 grams, 33 mm in diameter, brilliant uncirculated quality, the face value is 200 tenge. Mintage of the coins is 5000 pieces.

WORLD PAINTING silver coins are issued in souvenir packaging with numbered NBK quality certificates in Kazakh, Russian and English languages. Coins made of nickel silver alloy are issued in blister packs.

The coins were produced at the Kazakhstan Mint.
