200 tenge banknote                                                  200 tenge coin

Refusal to accept banknotes and coins of the national currency in circulation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are legal tender, leads to administrative liability as stipulated by Article 206 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses.

Additionally, it is worth noting that the National Bank does not issue new banknotes with a denomination of 200 tenge into circulation. The banknotes of this denomination currently in circulation do not have an expiration date and are gradually withdrawn from circulation as a result of natural deterioration. They are being replaced with coins of 200 tenge denomination.
