The National Bank of Kazakhstan announces a market launch of JETI QAZYNA numismatic coins from Steppe Treasures series starting from March 31, 2021.

The coins will be offered for sale via regional branches of the National Bank in compliance with social distancing and epidemiological measures.

The National Bank of Kazakhstan releases into circulation the following JETI QAZYNA coins:

1) metal: 999/1000 fineness gold, quality: proof, face value: 500 KZT, weight: 7.78 g, diameter: 25 mm, circulation: 1,000;

 

2) metal: 925/1000 fineness silver, quality: proof, face value: 5,000 KZT, weight: 777.5 g, diameter: 100 mm, circulation: 250;

3) metal: 925/1000 fineness silver, quality: proof, face value: 500 KZT, weight: 31.1 g, diameter: 38,61 mm, circulation: 3,000;

4) metal: CN25 cupronickel alloy, quality: proof-like, face value: 200 KZT, weight: 15 g, diameter: 33 mm, circulation: 25,000;

5) metal: nickel brass / nickel-silver alloy, quality: brilliant uncirculated, face value: 100 KZT, weight: 6.45 g, diameter: 24.5 mm, 25,000 pieces of each variety, total circulation: 175,000.

Gold and silver coins come in souvenir packaging and have a numbered certificate of quality from the National Bank of Kazakhstan in the state, Russian and English languages. Coins from cupronickel alloy, proof-like quality, and nickel brass / nickel-silver alloy of brilliant uncirculated quality are come in a blister set.

All the coins must be accepted at their face value in Kazakhstan for all types of payments and also for crediting to bank accounts as well as for remittance, change and exchange in all the banks of Kazakhstan.

Numismatic and bicolored circulation coins are issued by Kazakhstan’s Mint.
