As of October 1, 2025, the issue of electronic money was carried out by 7 banks and «Kazpost» JSC. Payment organizations are the operators of 443 of the 47 electronic money systems operating in Kazakhstan.

In the 3rd quarter of 2025, kazakhstani issuers of electronic money issued electronic money in the amount of 227.0 billion tenge. The number of open electronic wallets amounted to more than 50 million.

In the 3rd quarter of 2025, the volume of transactions using electronic money issued by kazakhstani issuers in Kazakhstan amounted to 57.8 million transactions in the amount of KZT 266.2 billion (compared to the same period in 2024, the number of transactions decreased by 1.5%, the amount of transactions increased by 0.01%, respectively).
