On the whole 67.0 mln transactions to the amount of 872.6 trln KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-November of 2023. As compared to January-November of 2022 number of payments in payment systems increased by 13.3% (by 7.9 mln transactions), amount of payments by 25.1% (by 175.0 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-November of 2023 22.9 mln transactions to the amount of 862.7 trln KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 17.7% (by 3.4 mln transactions), amount of payments by 25.3% (by 174.4 trln KZT).
On an average 101.7 thousand transactions to the amount of 3.8 trln KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-November of 2023 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2022 in respect of number by 17.7% (by 15.3 thousand transactions) and in respect of amount by 25.3% (by 775.0 bln KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January-November of 2023 made up 44.1 mln documents to the amount of 9.9 trln KZT. As compared to January-November of 2022 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 11.2% (by 4.4 mln documents), value of payments – by 7.4% (by 679.4 bln KZT).
On an average 196.0 thousand documents to the amount of 43.9 bln KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2022 in respect of number of payments by 11.2% (by 19.7 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 7.4% (by 3.0 bln KZT).
