On the whole 60.9 mln transactions to the amount of 768.9 trln KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-October of 2023. As compared to January-October of 2022 number of payments in payment systems increased by 14.0% (by 7.5 mln transactions), amount of payments by 26.0% (by 158.9 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-October of 2023 20.7 mln transactions to the amount of 760.0 trln KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 18.2% (by 3.2 mln transactions), amount of payments by 26.3% (by 158.2 trln KZT).
On an average 101.4 thousand transactions to the amount of 3.7 trln KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-October of 2023 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2022 in respect of number by 17.6% (by 15.2 thousand transactions) and in respect of amount by 25.8% (by 760.7 bln KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January-October of 2023 made up 40.2 mln documents to the amount of 8.9 trln KZT. As compared to January-October of 2022 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 12.0% (by 4.3 mln documents), value of payments – by 8.6% (by 708.4 bln KZT).
On an average 197.1 thousand documents to the amount of 43.7 bln KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2022 in respect of number of payments by 11.4% (by 20.2 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 8.1% (by 3.3 bln KZT).
