Within the International Currency Conference "Currency Conference - 2007" devoted to questions of production, protection against fakes and the address of the banknotes, the carried-out International association on the currency questions IACA (International Association of Currency Affairs) organized competition in which the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part with banknotes of a sample of 2006. 

Kazakhstani banknote with face value of 10 000 tenge win in nomination "The Best New Banknote". Original design, difficult and high security of a new series of the banknotes which have been let out in November, 2006 was noted.
